Standing With Gilad. As part of the two-week Gilad Shalit Awareness Campaign launched by the Israeli Embassy in London, StandWithUs UK is helping to organise leafleting around the city. Yesterday, StandWithUs UK Coordinator Gili Brenner gathered a team of activists in Leicester Square to distribute flyers, balloons and petitions, while two large ad vans with Gilad's poster and the campaign's details were driving around the square. On Sunday, StandWithUs will return to the streets of London, raising awareness of Gilad's captivity and the fact that the Red Cross have been denied access. On Thursday 24th February, vigils will be held in London, Manchester and Leeds.
