Fatah threatens Israelis: "Leave immediately"

Fatah threatens Israelis:
"Leave immediately"

"Warning" sign shows assault rifle
and map including the PA and all of Israel:
"This is a land of a Palestinian state"

On one of its official Facebook pages the Fatah movement, which is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, yesterday posted a warning to Israelis. A sign showed an assault rifle and a map of "Palestine" that included both PA areas and all of Israel. In Arabic, Hebrew, and English it said: "Warning. This is a land of a Palestinian state and the occupation to leave immediately" (English original).

Internationally, Abbas continuously affirms the Palestinians' desire for a two-state solution and a Palestinian state on the 1967-borders. However, that statement is not reflected in this poster, nor in many other statements and messages to the Palestinian people.

In March, Palestinian Media Watch reported that Fatah's military wing issued a video promoting "armed resistance until the liberation of all of Palestine." Similarly, Fatah leader Tawfik Tirawi stated that "the two-state solution does not exist" and explained Fatah's goal of a world without Israel:

"This is our goal; this is the lantern that lights our way;
these are our principles in the Fatah Movement:
Palestine - Gaza is part of it; the West Bank is part of it;
and it is Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, and it is all of Palestine" [Al-Manar TV (Hezbollah), April 2, 2014]

Another Fatah official, Abbas Zaki, clearly explained the goal of bringing Israel to an end when he said:

"Israel will come to an end. If I say that I want to remove it from existence, this will be great, great, [but] it is hard. This is not a [stated] policy. You can't say it to the world. You can say it to yourself." [Al-Jazeera, Sept. 23, 2011]

He recently also stated about Israelis that "I believe that Allah will gather them so we can kill them. I am informing the murderer of his death." [Official PA TV, March 12, 2014]

Palestinian Media Watch has documented that Fatah continuouslyuses its Facebook pages to deny Israel's right to exist, promote violence, and glorify terrorists.
