The BBC Radio 4 presenter John Humphreys when confronted with multiple recent examples of BBC anti-bias, initially blamed "sloppy journalism". When this feeble cop out failed, he said, with a big grin, "OK so we're a left wing organisation, the media is left wing, that's the result". He added " and anyway, the Palestinians are so charming, so unlike those ghastly Israelis, the Embassy sends for interviews".
