Syrians protest in London as Assad defies Arab League demands
Syrian nationals have protested opposite the Syrian Embassy in London against embattled president Bashar al-Assad. There were also a number of clashes with a Kurdish group of protesters. London, UK. 26th November 2011

Syrian nationals have protested opposite the Syrian Embassy in London against embattled president Bashar al-Assad. The protest comes as the deadline set by the Arab League for the admission of observers into Syria passed without action. There were also a number of clashes with a Kurdish group of protesters who although also protesting against Bashar al-Assad, are alleged to have met with a member of the regime for talks, an action deemed unacceptable by other protesters. There was one arrest.
