On September 25, 2014 Dumfries and Galloway Council were presented a motion (above) calling for support of the anti-Semitic BDS of Israel.
After a discussion lasting approximately eight minutes, when the usual lies and distortions were regurgitated, the Council dismissed the motion in favour of an amendment simply voicing their humanitarian concerns, limiting the wording to the first six lines (ending at “lasting peace”). The voting was For the Motion 11, For the amendment 28.
