Egyptian social media activists circulated video footage that purportedly shows a woman giving birth in the street after being barred from entering a local hospital.

 

The video shows the woman lie down on the floor during labor, as her angry relatives slam the hospital’s administration for not allowing her in.

 

In comments over the incident, a health ministry official denied that the woman was not allowed to enter the hospital, adding that an investigation will be launched into the incident, according to Egyptian news website Youm7
