On June 25th 2006, Gilad Shalit, a French-Israeli serving in the Israeli army was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. He has been held in captivity ever since, without access to the Red Cross or his family, and with only limited contact with the outside world (3 letters, 1 audio recording and 1 video).
We oppose the terrorist tactics of Hamas and call on them to release Gilad back to his family.
This group is designed to help strengthen the campaign to have Gilad Shalit declared an honorary citizen of London by Mayor Boris Johnson!

Using the example above, we encourage all those who support the Shalit family to write to Mayor Boris Johnson and ask him to show his solidarity with Gilad, in the same way as Paris, Rome, Miami and New Orleans have done!
