Portman 'disgusted' by Galliano video

Natalie Portman has said she was "shocked and disgusted" by a video in which designer John Galliano appears to say he loves Hitler.

Fashion house Christian Dior has now fired the designer, who has been Dior's creative director for 14 years.
He was suspended last week after being arrested in Paris on suspicion of assault and anti-Semitism for allegedly launching an attack on a couple sitting on a cafe terrace following a late-night drinking session.
But further footage, which appears to show him abusing drinkers in a bar and telling them "I love Hitler", has since emerged.
After the video was posted online, Oscar-winner Natalie - who advertises Christian Dior's Miss Dior Cherie perfume - said: "As an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way."
A statement released by Dior on Tuesday said it had "commenced termination proceedings" in the light of the "deeply offensive statements and conduct by John Galliano in a video made public yesterday".
Police said Galliano had drunk the equivalent of up to two bottles of wine when he was arrested after the cafe terrace incident.
He was later released to return to his home in the same district.
