Raising awareness of Gilad, Eyal and Naftali

Dear Renaud,

Raising awareness of Gilad, Eyal and Naftali

We have details of a number of events around the country where you can show your solidarity with the kidnapped Israeli teenagers Gilad, Eyal and Naftali:

The Embassy of Israel is asking all those who wish to see the safe return of these boys, to help raise awareness of their kidnapping by adding a simple badge to your Facebook page, and encouraging others to do the same – either via mailing lists, or just by telling all your friends about it.
CLICK THIS LINK to add the badge and this link is how you can share it far and wide -
This is the Israeli Defence Forces’ briefing on the ongoing situation:

Job opportunity - campaigning against the delegitimisation of Israel

The Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) and a range of communal partners are working together on an exciting new project to counter the delegitimisation of Israel in key areas of UK civil society. They are recruiting a Campaign Executive to work with me as Director of We Believe in Israel to deliver this project.
All the details are in this document:
If you want to apply, please email a CV and covering letter explaining why you would be suitable for the role to Gemma Freeman - The deadline for applications to be received is Friday 4 July at 5pm.

Events in the wider Middle East

A number of events this week are shining a spotlight on Iran’s relations with the West. Foreign Secretary William Hague has announced the reopening of the British Embassy in Tehran, a decision which coincides with the latest round of P5+1 talks with Iran in Vienna and reports that the US is holding a dialogue with Iran about the crisis sweeping Iraq. To discuss this, BICOM Director of Research Dr. Toby Greene spoke with BICOM Senior Visiting Fellow Brig. Gen. (res.) Michael Herzog. You can read more here and listen to the interview in full

Best wishes,

Luke Akehurst
Director, We Believe in Israel
