Dear Friends
The Community feels that we should find a visible way to express our collective grief at the murder of our three students, Eyal, Gilad and Naftali, and our solidarity with the people of Israel at this time of sadness.
We have therefore organised a candle lit vigil of reflection, comfort of the mourners and support against terrorism taking place tomorrow, Wednesday 2nd July. The event will take place outside the Embassy of Israel, 2 Palace Green, London W8 4QB (nearest tube, High St Kensington). Please gather at 6.45pm.
The event will be addressed by the Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner and others will offer their reflections.
It is being supported by the Embassy of Israel, the Jewish Leadership Council, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, BICOM, UJIA, the Zionist Federation, We Believe in Israel and the UJS. The event will be secured by the CST.
Please do what you can to forward this information to your networks and anyone who might be interested, to encourage as many people as possible to show their solidarity with the people of Israel. If friends who are outside London would like to organise a vigil event to coincide with this one, it can be organised at 6.45pm. Please let us know what you are arranging.
May the families be comforted amongst the mourners for Zion and for Jerusalem.
Best wishes,
Luke Akehurst

I am not an historian, decent author or a journalist, and the chances are that unless there is a link or reference to somewhere else, the perpetrator is yours truly – Renaud Sarda. I created this blog as a focal point, to arm people with arguments and facts that they can perhaps use to counter biased media reporting and anti-Israel propaganda, and to help counter (BDS) campaign. I am a Zionist/Sephardi/Jew who will fly the Israeli flag, and defend whatever Israel does.
