The Hamas Underground Terror Network in Gaza-Truth!

A network of high-tech tunnels have been discovered connecting Gaza to Isreal that was constructed by Hama, according to a July 26, 2014, article in the blog of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The article said that each tunnel cost Hamas $3 million and the construction materials used for just one tunnel could have been used to build 86 homes, 7 mosques, 6 schools or 19 medical clinics. The report said that 30 tunnels had been found, more recent reports by various news agencies have increased the number to 70.

On August 4, 2014, Israel's Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a statement "praising the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) for neutralizing the terror tunnels from Gaza, but reiterated that there is no guarantee of 100 percent success." This according to a report that day by the Jerusalem Post.  Netanyahu told reporters that every effort was made to achieve the maximum but there was no guarantee of 100% success.

Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity was on assignment in Israel and in an August 4, 2014, Fox News exclusive toured a Hamas tunnel.

A real example of the eRumor as it has appeared on the Internet:

A young IDF soldier's experience in Gaza !

We went into Shuja’iya, to discover and destroy the Hamas’ terrorist tunnels. We discovered there an entire underground city, with multi-shaft, wide tunnels, with Wi-Fi & air-conditioning systems, concrete walls, and stocked to the ceiling with weapons and explosives. Some of the tunnels are so wide, that they can ride back and forwards on Vespa-type scooters. And then came the worst! The Hamas “fighters” started sending towards us 13- and 14-year-old Palestinian children, running at us, wearing explosive-laden suicide-bomber belts!! Those children were death-trapped, and became human bombs, by the community’s adults!! We were trained to fight adult soldiers or any other skilled adults, enabling us to defend our families and countrymen. But this?? We had no other option but, in self-defense, to shoot them at as far a range from us as we could, before the “responsible adult” that sent them used his mobile phone to detonate the belts, and kill us.” One of the injured soldiers ended up by saying, “I do not know if I’ll ever be able to sleep again; the pictures of those poor children, killed by my gun, will probably never leave me!”
