TEL AVIV, Israel, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Singer Macy Gray said she donated a $25,000 first aid medical motorcycle following a concert in Israel "to save the lives of Jews, Christians, and Muslims."
The Grammy award-winning singer wound up her Saturday night appearance in Tel Aviv presenting the motorcycle to three members of the "Irgun Ihud Hatzalah," a volunteer, first-response charity organization, The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday.
Gray presented the motorcycle which includes state-of-the-art first aid equipment and a life-support system, saying it was meant "to save the lives of Jews, Christians, and Muslims" in Israel, without regard to religion.
This was Gray's third visit to Israel. She was allegedly pressured to join an "artistic boycott" of the nation but left the decision up to her fans who left their comments on a Facebook page.
