U.S. judge orders deportation of 88-year-old ex-Ukraine police officer accused of shooting dead a Jew during WWII

An 88-year-old retired car engineer has been ordered to be deported from America having been accused of killing a Jew in World War II.
Accused: John Kalymon has been ordered to be deported from America after being accused of killing a Jew in World War II
John Kalymon, once known as Iwan Kalymon, allegedly worked for a Nazi-controlled police force called the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police.
And it is claimed by the U.S. Justice Department that he shot and killed a Jew in 1942 when they were being removed from what is now Lviv in the east Europe country.
Despite the fact that he denied he killing the Jew, U.S. Immigration Judge Elizabeth Hacker issued her written decision in Detroit yesterday in the case of Mr Kalymon, who was stripped of his U.S. citizenship in 2007.
Judge Hacker ordered Mr Kalymon to be removed to Germany, Ukraine, Poland or any country that will take him.
Mr Kalymon, 88, from Troy near Detriot, is a former Chrysler factory worker.
He admits he was in the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police, but denies he ever took part in such activities.
In autumn Judge Hacker declined Mr Xenos's request to hold a mental competency hearing for Mr Kalymon, who suffers from dementia and prostate cancer.
Mr Kalymon is under no immediate threat of removal because his case could be appealed for several years.

Defense lawyer Elias Xenos conceded that 'an appeal will be likely'.
In addition, it's unclear whether any country would accept him.
The Ukraine and Poland have not accepted any Nazi-era deportations in several years; and Germany has rarely accepted them.
