Israeli Lefty 'Shir Hever' on the fascist Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign SPEAKING TOUR.

For sometimes now, most Jews have believed there were far greater threats coming within the fringe left in Israel. The left in Israel includes large numbers of academics, journalists, human rights activists, environmental and animal rights activists, entertainers, and women's groups, racial advocacy groups and unions. There are also many Jewish liberals lefties in Europe and America who cause more damage to Israel image abroad than the arabs or the Palestinians . Israel is attacked because they know that Israel has adopted a Western style democracy, and in the mind of the lefties Israel is a colonialist creation, they hate Israel because they are appalled by the influence of religious settlers and their biblical connections to the land of country, and despise the support for Israel by evangelical Christians, and Christian Zionists.

"Israeli society is a decadent society in an unstoppable decline, resistant to internal calls for reform and politically paralyzed from within."
"Only external pressure can truly bring change to this society, and allow democracy to take hold in the region, not only for the benefit of Palestinians, but for the benefit of Israelis too. External pressure, by using political and economic tools such as sanctions and boycott, returns the issues of civil rights and democracy to the fore, and deprives Israel of the option to use its military might to make the problem go away."    SHIR HEVER, Why Does Israel Still Occupy the Palestinians?

SHIR HEVER, Why Does Israel Still Occupy the Palestinians?
“Shir Hever has emerged as one of the most incisive analysts of the critical Israeli Left. A truly engaged intellectual, Hever straddles the academic/activist divide. Unlike armchair analysts, he has “been there” in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. This is the kind of book upon which effective political organizing depends”.

  1. The SPSC were using the immediate flotilla coverage to say it was a massacre and handing out leaflets saying this but now that the truth is out they say nothing on it. It seems they were directly behind the violent element in the flotilla because they were all too ready to exploit their martyrs. If people play the agent provocateur with SPSC supporters they can be revealed for who they really are taking them on directly will produce compensated sociopaths = more problems for everyone.
